In the commercial insulation and waterproofing industry, experience and equipment are the two variables that completely dictate the success of a project. A small contractor with a portable, low-pressure foam kit might be able to patch a residential attic, but when a General Contractor is staring down a 50,000-square-foot warehouse roof or a massive refinery containment basin, you need a sub-contractor with serious firepower.
At Mouton Insulation, we don't just "do" spray foam—we operate a fleet of the industry's most advanced mobile spray foam and coating rigs.
Applying closed-cell polyurethane foam and extreme-wear polyurea coatings requires flawless chemistry. These materials consist of two chemical components (usually an "A" side and a "B" side) that must be heated to precise temperatures, pressurized to thousands of PSI, and mixed instantly at the tip of the spray gun.
If the temperature fluctuates by even a few degrees, or if the pressure drops, the chemical reaction fails. The resulting foam will not cure properly, will lack structural integrity, and will completely fail as a waterproofing or insulation barrier.
Our custom-built mobile rigs are outfitted with Graco Reactor proportioners—the absolute gold standard in plural-component application. These onboard computers constantly monitor temperatures and pressures, ensuring perfect chemical yields on every single trigger pull. When we show up to a commercial site, our equipment guarantees that the material applied to your building performs exactly as the manufacturer engineered it.
Commercial jobsites—especially new construction or remote industrial plants—often lack the electrical infrastructure required to power high-voltage heating units and compressors. We never rely on the jobsite for power.
Our rigs are completely self-contained mobile plants. They feature onboard, industrial-grade diesel generators and massive rotary screw air compressors. We can pull up to a remote oil rig in Port Arthur or an unfinished logistics center in Houston and immediately begin laying down material without waiting on electricians or local utilities.
The best equipment in the world is useless without the hands of an experienced applicator. Spraying foam and liquid coatings is an art. It requires anticipating weather conditions, understanding substrate adhesion, and navigating complex commercial structures.
Our crews have spent years honing their craft across the Gulf Coast. We know how the immense humidity of Lake Charles affects polyurea curing times. We know exactly how to safely strip and prep an aging metal roof in Dallas before applying a silicone membrane. We bring an unparalleled level of professionalism and technical knowledge to every General Contractor we partner with.
